Great Shows You Might’ve Forgotten: Square One

I’m realizing now that as a kid I watched a lot of public television after school. Some of my favorite shows were Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego?, Ghostwriter, Wishbone, Reading Rainbow, Bill Nye the Science Guy and Square One.

I wonder what ever happened to Square One because that was definitely quality television! What could be better than watching a great jam about Roman Numerals or Prime Numbers? It was sort of like Schoolhouse Rock’s little brother. I loved Mathnet with the mathematician detectives, but was a bit too young to realize it was actually a parody. I thought it was just that cool.

I feel sad for the children today that are deprived of great shows like Square One. Teletubbies got nothin on this shit:
